I'm honestly not sure where the tiebreakers stand and it's possible that Illinois cannot finish last.  But I included them as an option because it's possible for the other teams to all reach 6 wins if Purdue wins out at home against NW, Northwestern loses to Purdue but then beats PSU, and PSU loses to NW but then beats Minnesota.  Not likely but it could happen.  In which case, we could have a 4-way tie for last place that would include Illinois (assuming they lose to Iowa) and I'm just not sure how that tie gets broken.

I'm going to opt for a write-in vote. The Big Ten Media contingent will finish in last place, for picking the Huskers below all of those teams. See you in the funny papers B1G scribes.

True about how cool it is NOT to be on the list and I love your new signature.

 

PSU is the most Jekyll and Hyde team in the conference. They have pulled off a couple of stunning wins but have laid eggs most of the time. I'm voting for them to sink to the bottom their last two are on the road and the tie breakers don't favor them.

Well, OK, so apparently the tie-breakers are such that even if there's a 4-way tie with all of the above, Illinois won't be last when all the ties are broken.  So, cool.  Groce should take some comfort in not finishing tied for last.  Illinois fans should take some comfort that they return a lot of these same players for next season. 

 

Or maybe that's not much comfort.
