Kind of an oxymoron, really.  To have been long-suffering, you would have tickets and attended a lot of the last 15 year's games, like a lot of us here.

You can't suffer if you don't witness the carnage.

I'm a long suffering Husker hoops fan.  And I have tickets.  My dad, may his soul rest in peace, will have to watch from Heaven.  A couple decades he and I shared season tickets.  Wish he could have seen this.  He took me to see Jerry Fort in the old Coliseum.  And Carl McPipe when Devaney first opened.  We witnessed a number of tournament teams but he never got to see us get a win there.  This could be the year, pops.  This could be the year.

Perhaps your Dad is helping to "will" this team to victory and the NCAA Tournament. The way we've turned this year around since January 15th is nothing short of remarkable.
