Louisville is showing interest. This is perplexing. I don't think they are in on Dickerson and it surprises with Akoy there. Makes me wonder what's going on there.

He would fill an immediate need at a position they are currently lacking in at this time.  Louisville, as well as the Dukes, UK, KU, etc dont have the time to develop like others schools do, they expect guys to come in game ready.  Those that are not will transfer out or spend their careers as practice players if they dont do it on their own.

that the problem with Akoy going to Louisville.  They are never going to stop recruiting elite level players at his position.  With him being raw, his decision to go there had the high risk of him getting lost in the shuffle.

I'm not saying we shouldn't be recruiting him. I'm glad we are and hope we get him. I just think our chances would increase if we were going after Atwood also. Therefore, my original question was any thoughts as to why it appears we're not showing interest in Atwood.

I have 100% faith in our coaching staff. I just hope the administration isn't afraid to open up the checkbook to make sure they stay here for a long time.

To piggy back on this, the reason that Miles landed Petteway was because he recruited him out of high school first.

If we don't land the Dickersons or Agaus of the world it's still possible that we eventually get them.
