atskooc Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 Let's stretch this lead to double digits before the half! Quote
tcp Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 Need to get Hammond out of the game, somehow. When he's out of the game, we can attack the rim. When he is in the game Pitchford needs to get the ball outside, and take Hammond out of the lane. i think we're getting a handle on AJ right now after that start of his. I'm talking on our offensive end. We can't seem to get it to the rim when he is in the game. Our jump shots aren't falling. On our defensive side, he is not a factor in the game. We keep sending everyone at him. Need to make a run while he is on the bench. no, I know what you meant. and I agree. Quote
a0t0w0 Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 Benny playing great. No more "YES!" Chant...please...it's stupid and it's positive reinforcement for the other team. SHIELDS IS A BOSS. We will win. Quote
atskooc Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 Double digits! Let's keep it there! a0t0w0 1 Quote
a0t0w0 Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 Double digits! Let's keep it there! Double digits! Let's keep it there! Double digits! Let's keep it there! That's what she said. Quote
colhusker Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 And again he is such a liability Quote
huskerbaseball13 Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 And this what we get for playing Peltz. Quote
tcp Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 lol at purdue for that. thanksfor the free bucket! Quote
colhusker Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 And THAT is why Rivers needs to be playing. Can't beat hustle. Quote
Bugeaters1 Posted February 23, 2014 Author Report Posted February 23, 2014 What is with these teams that are bad FT shooting teams but come to Lincoln and make everything ? Quote
brfrad Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 And this what we get for playing Peltz. I hope it was a good lesson for Hawkins. 9 point lead at half. Quote
HuskerFever Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 Hawkins might not be seeing anymore playing time tonight... Quote
colhusker Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 Hawkins might not be seeing anymore playing time tonight... That would be poor coaching IF it means Peltz is on the floor. Quote
hal9000 Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 One ref calling all the fouls. I'd like to see his call totals compared to the others. Quote
brfrad Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 Have to stop fouling. We are playing really good. Purdue has no offensive threat with Hammond out of the game. Quote
atskooc Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 Hawkins might not be seeing anymore playing time tonight... What did he do? Can't watch or listen today. Quote
brfrad Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 Hawkins might not be seeing anymore playing time tonight... What did he do? Can't watch or listen today. He didn't come to the ball, and allowed Purdue knock the ball away. He was kind of lazy. Freshmen mistake. Quote
colhusker Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 Hawkins didn't come back to the ball on Purdue's press. No turnover but he got yanked. There maybe more as I got in starting late. Quote
a0t0w0 Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 Kind of surprised he got PT so early in the game as it were. If Peltz get time over hawkins and it's not a 20+pt blow out I'm questioning that decision. Such an ugly first 10 minutes of this game. we will win. Quote

He did knock down a 3-pointer but immediately air-balled the next one. He needs to focus. Quote
