Weird Prediction But...

I have a hunch that Ray Gallegos is going to go off tomorrow. Like, lead us scoring, with 5-6 three pointers hit.

 

If that happens, I think good things are in store for "The Big Red." Not saying we're going to win, but also not saying we're going to lose, especially if my Gallegos hunch comes true.

If Ray goes 5-6 and leads us in scoring we lose.  Without Shields and/or Petteway scoring 20+ we don't have a huge chance of winning.

 

Having said that, I would love Ray to put up 15-20.  I hope you are right about him catching fire.

A lot of us seem to have Ray as the wildcard.  He had a few games last year where he hit 5-7 threes, time for that to happen again. 

 

Need something from everybody-Shavon, Terran, Walt, Ray...even need something from Hawkins and Parker and Rivers, or else we may have a short bench today.   History says we lose by 20-30.  Another slow start will be really tough to overcome.

Last game, someone predicted Tai would go off and Shields gets 33.  So if someone predicts today is Ray's turn, then Vooch gets 35!

I really like Ray, but he has not exhibited any consistancey that leads me to believe he is about to go off.  I continue to hope that Ray realizes this is it.  This is his senior year.  Perhaps...perhaps...perhaps...but I won't hold my breath.
