TheKamdyMan Posted April 14, 2014 Author Report Posted April 14, 2014 Read somewhere that Kaleb Terczewski is leaning towards returning to Arizona. Are they full if he stays? they would have to find 2 spots to get him. Many places think Nick Johnson goes pro so that would cover the 4 they signed this past fall. Will be interesting to see what happens there. Quote
bobcat402 Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 does this change with Gordon and Johnson leaving? and does he still go even if they find two spots, knowing full well, it wont start of Kaleb? Quote
MichHusker Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 It would be pretty ODD of they couldn't sign him and we ended up bringing him in, right? Quote

Gordon is accounted in the 2 spots. Johnson only clears them for the 4 they signed in the fall. hhcmatt 1 Quote

FredsSlacks Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 So will Arizona basically have to force somebody to transfer to get Ristic? Quote
hhcmatt Posted April 15, 2014 Report Posted April 15, 2014 So will Arizona basically have to force somebody to transfer to get Ristic? If Gordon or one other guy goes pro...no. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted April 15, 2014 Report Posted April 15, 2014 I think ESPN just said that Gordon is gonzo. Might want to check though. Quote
Swan88 Posted April 15, 2014 Report Posted April 15, 2014 One senior is on Arizona's 2013-14 roster. Two under-class players are turning pro. Four recruits have already signed commitments to Arizona for 2014-15, plus Dusan Ristic made a verbal commitment. That's two over the limit, it seems. Surely they can run off at least two players (Myles Turner is, apparently, still a long-shot for Arizona at this time). Unfortunately for Dusan Ristic, Arizona's 7' center is planning to return. Are you guys seeing something different than what I see on Verbal Commits? Right now it has Gordon declared as a pro, Nick Johnson is not, and they're one over including Ristic. If Johnson declares they will have 2 - Seniors - McConnell, Korcheck 4 - Juniors - York, Allen, Ashley, Tarczewski 3 - Sophomores - Pitts, Hollis-Jefferson, Peters 4 - Freshmen - Jackson-Cartwright, Johnson, Victor, Ristic 13 total TheKamdyMan 1 Quote

I found an article where they had 11 open to start the year. I did see they used the Mike Peltz, Trevor Menke plan for one semester this year but you are correct. One more guy leaves and they are all set. Quote

It was a one semester deal though that counting him would put them over. Quote
Swan88 Posted April 15, 2014 Report Posted April 15, 2014 Not that waters for the Arizona roster numbers need to be muddier (for us outsiders looking in), but check this out: Ryan Anderson @_AndersonBC122h I would be happy at any of these schools!! Order doesn't matter but here are my visits...May 2- Iowa state May 5- Indiana May 8- Arizona Ryan Anderson is a 6'9" forward transferring out of Boston College. He will have shoulder surgery during his sit-out year. Quote
