Nick opens hump day talking about expectations for Nebraska basketball

 

Fast forward to about 7:30 on this one if you're going to listen. I'm not sure that's worth your time.

 

 

Bahe at the end is more than a bit annoying (even if some of it is true)... I like Bahe as a sportscaster (generally); having said that, I don't recall Nick being responsible for winning jack at KU or Crayton, but he acts like Crayton = KU.

 

And, on another note, the Big East of this year is not nearly as big of a factor nationally as previous years. The 3 best teams in the 'real big' Big East were Syracuse, Pitt & Louisville. And Notre Dame has had their moments in the past, too.  Big East in name only - End of rant.

 

 

I'd probably replace Pitt with UConn.

 

But you could take the "former" Big East programs, and match them up against the "current" Big East programs, and I'd take the group of "former" programs every day.

Notre Dame

 

They lost a LOT of very valuable assets.

Yeah, I momentarily forgot abt UConn & Cincy... thanks for adding to the very long list of the 'real' Big East members of last season's greatness.

There's going to be a WHOLE lot of chatter on the local radio stations about Nebrasketball now, and I don't think I want to spam this thread any more than I have so I'm going to start being much more selective in what I post moving forward.
