With the upcoming B1G Tournament starting today, it looks like 1 win will get us into the CBI (if we choose to accept the bid), 2 to the NIT, but I say, why not just win the whole thing and punch our ticket to the big dance.  After all KG said anything is possible Tim Miles!

Curious to see what everyone on the board is thinking how far we can go if we play our best this weekend?

Where are you getting your CBI information?

I think Miles reiterated again that we were not playing in the CBI.

I thought we had filed application papers for both the CBI and NIT.

Miles never said that.  All he said that he doesn't want to be the first Big 10 team to play in CBI.  Of course, nobody wants to play in the CBI but that doesn't mean we won't.

Exactly not the FIRST... see when we beat Purdue, they may get snuffed from the NIT.  If we lose to Ohio State, NIT is not looking at all like a possibility.  When the CBI announces that Purdue has accepted, we will accept a bid SECOND :)

We are now (hey this is a measuring stick) one of the top eight teams in the best conference in the nation.  Throw out the .500 thingy, bring on the NIT.  We can play a home game at Pershing for goodness sake.
