2025-26 Husker opponents

It will be interesting to see how NU schedules next season's non-conference schedule, it had apparently improved from #301 to #253 this past year. By the way, this thread is typically started each season to glean a viable schedule before it is relayed officially. Let's all put together the schedule as it is slowly released so that I can update the original post as NU news allow.

 

Nov. 3:  West Georgia

Nov. X:  Maryland Eastern Shore

Nov. 11: USC-Upstate

Nov X: Neutral site game at the Pentagon in Sioux Falls

Nov. 20-21: KC's Hall of Fame Classic (2 games) with K-St, New Mexico and/or Mississippi St.

Nov. 29: Creighton

Dec. 7: North Dakota

Dec. 21: New Hampshire

I believe this is wrong— our NET Non-Con SOS is 189.

Yeah, I had questioned that non-conference number from Washut, I figured he wasn't using the NET for the S.O.S.

Appears to have gone 6-25, 4-14 in the ASUN. Let's just say that metrics wise, this will be one we want to probably win by 40. (Someone post this in the 2025-26 bracketology thread)

9 of the 11 non-con games are pretty much set. There will be at least four solid non-con opponents, three of them on neutral courts.

With our conference that's probably a top 50 KenPom schedule but those first 3 teams are so bad I could probably hold a family reunion for my Catholic family at the PBA in the 300 level for less than it would cost to rent a facility

Assuming we add a decent major conference team in Sioux Falls, That’s a better non-con than we had this year or last.
