True, but Nissley's value was better than a minus 2.

Yeah, +/- is an inexact science on a game-to-game basis. Nissley secured the win with her 2 offensive rebounds. It was leaking away from NU, and she made sure the lead never wavered late. She's a gamer.

I know I complain about coach Williams but damn it, she gets us to the big dance about every year.

Not getting an athletic wing and the pick a role defense are about the only gripes I have with her these last couple years….if healthy we mould be the third best team in the big ten

Really good win.  Illinois only played 6 players double figure minutes, we may have worn them down.  Nissley's offensive rebounds came at big moments.   Gets us in the dance for sure.  A very good accomplishment after losing Potts.

Bozan (and the other freshmen too)...she's now playing without the deer in the headlights look. She was really out of her element at first. Even with a lot of important European classical post play training...the US college (& B1G) game was over her head at the first half of the season ...not to mention her moving to a new country, and new life/language/team mates.

Most noticeably, she is playing a lot faster now. More creating the play and not just letting it happen around her.  Just would help to now become a tough rebounder, and she'll be a complete package. Next year may well be a breakout year for her...and the other freshman as far as that goes.  Looks good for the future !

Just a great win with contributions coming from so many- esp. with our inside players such as Bozon and Petrie contributing- making up for UI taking away Markowski in large part.  Now we'll see what we have left in the tank for UCLA this evening. We'll see if perhaps the win last night affected our seedings in the NCAA tournament, projected as a 10 right now.  GBR! 🌽🌽🏀♥️

Agree she looks much more comfortable.

I think she needs to be focused on a couple of things in the off-season:

1.  needs to get in the weight room to gain strength which will naturally help with rebounding;

2.  work on her defensive footwork and positioning - she had a slew of ticky-tack (for lack of a better word) fouls that she's going to have to avoid to stay on the court.

I think she will make great improvements in both.  The good thing is, as some have mentioned, the offensive end seems to come naturally to her.  She is actually fairly competent at making a layup, which we all know has been the Huskers' nemesis for quite some time.
