Meh, at least we beat them in Iowa City. Which means we went .500 against Iowa. Which stands to reason since we are a middle of the pack conference team. And a middle of the pack conference team is all we ever will be under this head coach.

And no, I’m not necessarily calling for Coach Amy to be fired. We play in a murderously tough conference. Middle of the pack in this conference doesn’t mean an unsuccessful program.

But a few more losses like this one, and I may be singing a different tune! 😂

NW, Oregon, Washington.

I have watched Washington.  They have a dynamic post player.  I would, under normal circumstances, agree with you but not from what I am seeing on the court in lack of effort and execution.

I should hope so. I see the next two games on the road for NU, and I don't think the bleeding stops with those two.  😟

I don't either.  From what I saw tonight, I am thinking that the rest of the season at 1 and 4 is very possible and 2 and 3 might br the more realistic.  Free throw shooting and rebounding were the only aspects of decent play.  I didn't think that any time on the schedule would be able to bottle up BP like Iowa did tonight.  It's easy to see a 2W, 3L finish, being out of the Big tourney after one game and spending another post season in the NIT.  Which would be a step backward for a team that after that will lose its top producer, three other players and has only one recruit.

Couldn't watch the game live, so watched replays this morning.  Most everything has been said.

Unprepared to play aggressively... as a team.

Winning starts with defense. We were a step behind most of the game unfortunately. Same old... which team will show up this week. Can't say I can get used to it.

Rimdal gets it...she should start. She is not intimidated. She's productive most every game. Not prone to making mistakes.

Disappointed of course. On to the next one...season doesn't look to finish better than mid pack from here on out. Hope we can do better.....

it gets no easier tomorrow and this one is on the road.  I would think that any problems with illness will have been resolved by then.  and if the losing streak lasts all the way through this road trip, I hope we don't hear the "at this point in the season we have a lot of tired legs" explanation - as has been offered in previous years and as tho it doesn't affect opponents as well.
