That Underwood T early on, I think it changed the nature of the whistles from there on. Sucks bad, but the team showed a ton of resolve all night. I'm proud of my Huskers. LFG

Exactly. That is why an NU team has to win by 10 on the road, the whistles are often the difference in a close battle.

Oh yeah, that was more of a flagrant, and nobody bothered to even review. Their guy flopped and the refs review it. Totally ridiculous. NU missed too many bunnies, that's the reason they came up short. Next time they gotta make 'em to win Weds.

Actually,  it happened Thursday night when Brice tried the game winning shot.  Just as much contact happened on that play, and NOTHING was called.

That was a tie score, easy to swallow it there. A one-point game, and the refs suddenly fear for their own lives. Not that I agree with it, but that's how I view it from their lens..... pitiful, really.

Your Final Stats:

Apologize for the delay - We had a total power outrage starting @ about 10 mins left in the second half, in the middle of our run, so I missed the ending of the game and OT. (winter storm don't ya know, power didn't come back on until after I had retired. )  Thankfully I could still listen to Kent & Jake on the cell phone.

 

What an exciting game!!! Unhappily we came up just short at the end. I think we out-played them.  At Worst we played the #14 team to a Draw in a full crowd @ Their Place!

 

This Game is on the (willfuly) Refs.

The most egregious call to my rose colored glasses, was the foul on Wilcher against Damask at the very end of regulation.  Hardly a touch with what was allowed throughout the game.  I certainly hope Alberts does voice his displeasure through the proper channels.  Let’s get behind them for a big win against NW.
