49r
My initial thought was it sounds like some kind of road rage situation. Bugeaters1
jayschool
Reminds of this from my days in Iowa City. FWIW, it wasn't me. Edited October 27, 2023 by jayschool
1HuskerDad
Had heard rumors that this happened earlier in the week. Why risk getting elbowed in the nose for a game that doesn’t mean anything?

The dude played a few years in the NFL and was a strength coach for a minute for NDSU.
NUdiehard
Is this injury the same injury that caused Mast to miss the intra-squad scrimmage two weeks ago in which he appeared to be in a boot? BTW, the lack of journalism/reporting on this Nebraska team this pre-season is stark. For example, I just listened to a podcast with Robin Washut that aired yesterday, and Robin talked about how good it was going to be for Fred to have the entire roster available to "tinker" with lineups. He obviously had no clue about any of these situations, nor seemingly has any other reporter/journalist. There has been almost no pre-season coverage in print or media. Can you imagine if the football team had 40+ players injured or otherwise unavailable in preseason camp, there would be non-stop coverage and discussion. Husker Hoops continues to be a total and complete afterthought in this state.
bleujay
HA! I played little league with Nick DeLuca. Ithought he was destined for pro hockey, not football. Nice guy as an 11/12 year old..small world.. I hope Rienk's recovery is uneventful Edited October 27, 2023 by bleujay

AuroranHusker
I haven't been on HHC for a while... anything new going on? Nebrasketball, I presume, is ready to pounce on the Doane Tigers. Right? Bugeaters1
