so you're telling me, there's a chance, right?

heh heh

this team is beyond hopeless...and starting off this new car ride with the overpowering scent of puke is going to be a trigger the rest of the season. this is a team that begins their campaign not believing they can win, still.

Good news.  All we will hear about this week is Deion is the greatest coach in the history of college football.  The good part about that is no one will be focused on us.  I'm not sure if Colorado's offense is incredible or TCU's defense is God awful.

We have things going for us, and some things against us.  Colorado could not run nor stop the run.  We were able to run and stop the run against Minnesota.   TCU gave up big play after big play.  I hope we try to keep from giving up the big play.

Things against us : altitude. Confidence for them.  Lack of confidence for us.

We need to pound the football, take some calculated shots, and dear lord hang onto the football.

I feel like a few years ago, we would kick a field goal, and we held our breath to see if it was made or not. That is how I feel when Sims tries to pass.

That's why I'm baffled why people are so surprised. This is exactly who he was at Georgia Tech.

Yep, just look at his stats from GT.

Just watched Minnesota's TD, and the LT left early AND held on the same play.

That has been happening all across college football the last 1-2 years (the LT leaving early), and no one is calling it. I think it's pretty standard now, basically like palming the ball in basketball.

Colorado has been getting their heads pumped full of all kinds of "How Great Thou Art" these last few days.  It'll continue for the rest of the week.  We'll see how it pans out Saturday morning.

BTW, I think Huskers win.  This reminds me of 1981, when in the opener at Iowa, we had costly turnovers and lost 10-7 to those pricks.  Next week, we came back and spanked Florida State.

Colorado isn't that good.  Nebraska isn't as bad as all the naysayers think.

Only Colorado fans would be happy they outnumber their opposing teams' fans.  No other school would be excited they kept the red out when 20,000 opposing teams' fans will be there.

BTW, I don't think I've heard.  What's the name of Colorado's coach, and did they win last week?

Only going off of what I read on socials and what I have seen on TV…. But here’s my best guess…

Coach: Nick Saban, Tom Osborne co-heads

Last Week: They beat what was arguably the best team in the nation and was a shoe in for the national title game by a score of 176-3.

My level of nervousness for tomorrow's game on a scale from 1 to 10 is about a 1.5. Deion might not lead his team through the crowd beating on a drum. Outcome will be the same as 1995.

Love the 11 am kickoffs!  Bloody Mary's with clamato and Lucky Beef sticks instead of celery are the best!

GBR!

I'm guilty of this as much as anyone on this board.  Very few people ever check out any forums other than the Devaney Dungeon.  😉    I want to do a contest to prove my point. I'm still celebrating the life of Bob Barker, so this contest is closest without going over.

Nebraska wins tomorrow.  That's a given.  How many points do they win by?  Winner gets 2 Nebraska Star Beef 12 oz. NY strips shipped to their door or delivered by me if I'm close to you. I'll make it 4 steaks if you get the number exactly right. Only one winner, so duplicate numbers are losers, just like CU.  Good luck!  I bet your odds are pretty good....
