2020 B1G - ACC Challenge Schedule

So... because Coach K is 2-2 and got his butt kicked last night, he "doesn't know if they should be playing during the pandemic" now.  Ol Dicky V has jumped on the bandwagon too now.  Wonder how long before they all get CBB shut down.

Did you just refer to the B1G collectively as "we"?  I really hope our fanbase doesn't turn into SEC style homers.  Nothing is more sad than hearing an Arkansas fan say "we won another title" after 'Bama hoists the crystal ball.  Um, no Mr. Razorback.  Your team hasn't played a meaningful game past the month of November in decades.  There is no "we" in that.

It matters in college basketball when WE get left out of the NCAA tournament because "we" lost bad in the conference challenges and the conference NET rankings tank. That was a sad year. And that's the year WE won our conference challenge game and "we" got crushed in the conference challenges.

Especially true this year.  Currently (I'm assuming Minny jumped into the top 30)....

 

10 games that we play AT HOME in the conference will be Quad 1 games.

3 games that we play AT HOME in the conference will be Quad 2 games.

 

ALL games that we play on the road in the conference will be Quad 1 games.

 

Our last two non-con games are, Quad 3 and Quad 1 games.

Nothing wrong with hoping for a SoS boost via your conference opponents playing well in non-con.  But when you start taking pride in your rivals' victories...and going so far as saying "we" won...that just feels gross and makes me want to take a long shower.  Ew.

• Michigan St at Virginia - sounds pretty doubtful this game will be made up - however, MSU has not scheduled anyone else yet, so MSU still has one open slot to get to 27 games - I'm guessing Izzo is pretty pissed that they flew to Charlottesville, only to have the game postponed a few hours after they arrived, so I'd bet MSU will just schedule a home cupcake and call it good
• Louisville at Wisconsin - Wisconsin scheduled URI for today as a replacement but still has one open space left on its schedule to get to 27 games - sounds like they're hoping to make it up, maybe as early as Sunday
• NC State at Michigan - highly doubtful it will be made up - Michigan scheduled Toledo for today, so they're at 25 games and out of open slots - only way it could be made up is if Michigan & NC State play together in an MTE, as Michigan did not play in an MTE yet - not likely to happen
