OT.,,,OK...so  do we want Creighton coming off a win or a loss against KU?  I honestly don't want to cheer for Creighton if I don't have to?

Umm...so don't?

I think we want Creighton coming off of a win.  We don't play KU, so the stronger Creighton is in the metrics, the more reward for us if we win.

ok...I'll have to find a way to root for Creighton to win for us...while still hoping that KU put an ass whooping on them.  Not sure that's possible, but I'm going to see if I can figure it out.

If all the challenge games are going to go this way, the B1G may have it wrapped up before we take the floor tomorrow night.

Purdue 15-4 at under-12 timeout. Miami has one field goal. Purdue has a new 7-foot-4 monster in the lane. All things are right with the world.

Miami is 0-for-14 from 3-pt, yet somehow they've clawed back to within 46-41 with 6 1/2 minutes to go.

This has been a turrrrrible game, by the way. Purdue is huge, but they've missed more bunnies than we normally do.

Miami 58, Purdue 54

ACC leads, 1-0

Purdue will learn a key lesson from this game - playing the entire second half with one hand wrapped around your own throat makes it tough to hit shots.

One thing about it... the Big 10 hasn't really played up to par outside of cupcake games.  The solid win percentage doesn't look as solid when you include power 6 and good mid-major teams.

That’s to be expected. In the NFL, MLB and NBA combined all playoff teams are .500 against other playoff teams during the playoffs. My point is when good teams play good teams someone still has to lose.

B1G leads, 3-1

Miami 58, Purdue 54

Iowa 93, North Carolina 80

Minnesota 85, Boston College 80 (ot)

Ohio St 90, Notre Dame 85

Was looking pretty bleak in the early evening games for a bit, but all 3 B1G teams pull the opposite of Purdue and rally for wins.

My God... the Big 10 is going to be a meat grinder this year.  If we go .500 in the Big 10... it'll be an amazing year.

Concur.

It’s going to be a slog.
