This may not seem like a star-studded field name-wise, there are some sneaky good programs in this Cayman Islands Classic that will be taking place Nov. 25-27.

The remainder of the non-conference will be announced in summer, according to the story on huskers.com.

I just read on Gopherhole that we'll be playing Wake Forest in the ACC challenge, has anybody else heard anything?

Nevermind, I just read later they're just projected matchups. Nothing has been announced

This seems like a pretty good projection.

Is Pitt or Notre Dame the team that has to sit out?

Looking at the ACC teams that hosted last year and finished in a similar range as NU last year, Wake, Pitt, ND, Clemson, BC or Miami would be likely bets. It'd be nice to see ND or Pitt since we haven't seen them yet in the event. Hopefully as Hoiberg builds the program we'll see higher profile matchups.

Iowa's leadership at the point seems to have diminished in 3-2-1. JoBo gonzo.

McCaffery has experience with a guy like Gesell who couldn't shoot at the point he can just run his kid out there

Gesell was a highly regarded recruit. I don't see IA having a plug-and-play PG without JoBo. Guess we'll have to wait & see......

I see Purdue released their Non conference schedule this morning.  Hopefully we are getting close.  I'm curious when Creighton game will be?  Hopefully a Saturday again like last year!

I'd venture to guess either a Saturday or a Wednesday, based on past matchups.

Last two have been on Saturdays. The two before that were on Wednesdays. Five of the six before that were on Sundays.

I think when the football team was good they tried to schedule it the day after the conference title games.
