4-1 and that is a Game Winner, Big Red, in game 1; and it's 3-zip in game 2 half-way through it.

Waldron and Fisher last 2 games each : 31 1/3 IP 14 H 4 R 3 ER 1 BB 23 SO  3 - 0 so far with 4 outs to go and now we are ahead 5 - 2 in the bottom of the 8th.  0.86 ERA

Nice pitching for the double header sweep.  Win game 2 5 - 2.  Bullpen struggled a little, but got the job done.  Hopefully, we get the game in tomorrow or Sunday.  Really could use Luensman back.  Palkert struggled tonight, although to be fair 2 infield hits was how he allowed 2 runs to score.  Gomes seems like our closer, but is a freshmen.  Would like Luensman's experience.

1-2 punch on the bump is solid as you will find in the B1G. Still waiting for someone to take over sunday. Good teams put away bad teams, so far so good.

Fisher has been much better than I expected thus far. Frankly, his stuff last year was not great. He was living in the low to mid 80’s most games. I have not seen him live thus far this year but can argue with the results. 

 

Taking advantage and racking up wins against teams teams like MSU is key. A 3-0 Big Ten start would be nice and give us a little breathing room.  It’s unfortunate that Curry could not stay healthy because he had the potential to be a Friday-Saturday guy.

Our RPI went from 17 to 43 despite going 5 - 0 this week.

Yes really good to get the sweep!  Will undoubtedly be more challenging this coming weekend.  Interesting to see how we execute.  GBR!
