Liking the Wisconsin Matchup....

When Wisconsin came into the PBA and beat us by around ten points my memory of the game and a review of the stats of the game gave me the sense that we can win this game.

 

We shot 17 for 60, which even by our standards should not happen again. On 3’s we shot 4 for 20, which even by our standards should not happen again. 

 

And Copeland was already injured and Borchard fouled out after playing only 15 minutes.

 

So I’m thinking if we shoot even 35% overall and 30% from 3 and Borchard gives us 25 minutes or so we might be right in this game.

 

My concern is that our legs will be worn out and we may not shoot very well because of that but I would not be com-pletely surprised if we pull the upset.

I don't like the matchup against roast beef st when they are well rested and we have played guys 75+ minutes the previous 2 days.

I did mention that our legs may not be up to the challenge but ignoring that variable I like the matchup all things considered.

Definitely better to get Wisky 3rd round instead of Maryland. We have a chance!

Ideally, we beat Wisconsin and tOSU beats MSU and we sprint past tOSU into the tourney final. I want to make the dance; I don't want to give Barry Collier another chance to screw us in the NIT.
