It's possible I've reached that point where I can no longer invest my time or energy this season.  I said it a few games ago and I'll say it again: this team is exhausting. I'm not sure I have much left in the tank.

I was thinking the same thing right after the game.

The not so good... good thing is that half of our games to finish the year are on the road.

they really are. and I feel terribly for them. but that doesn't make watching them reduce basketball to special olympian proportions any easier.

the end of this season will be a mercy to a lot of people.

Lot of emotion tonight.  I certainly was mad...but then I reverted to sad.  Sad about the current state of the team and the program.  Sad that yet another year is passing us by.  Sad for the coaches and most importantly the players.

The players play hard, but the thought that ran through my mind was that we play hard...but certainly not smart.  We have little breakdowns that are catastrophic.  Siggggghhhh.  I still am totally astonished about how our offense simply left us.  Nothing is easy...nothing.

4 more home games. This is worse than Doc's last season, not because of the record or anything like that but because of how unexpected this was. This is a total collapse.

Nebraska Basketball continues to find new ways to rip our hearts out. With each passing season I grow more weary. We are going to be starting over again...again...again.

I am probably going to take a hiatus until the start of the new season.

Agreed.

I think this one hurts more because there was actual belief and valid reasoning for the belief.

If I recall correctly, just like this year, we were the B1G's oldest team Doc's last season. I remember with Spencer, McCray, Diaz, Walker, and Richardson, thinking we should be decent. Boy, was I wrong. It definitely proved that experience can be overrated, and that I probably overhyped that team's talent.
