Evansville is coached by Walter McCarty, who played at Kentucky and in the NBA. One of his assistants is Todd Linkliter, a bust at Iowa, but very successful at Butler. Cunliffe has a lot of baggage, but he's a very good pickup for them. And if it doesn't work out, he can always transfer to a 4th school.
