really, we've been boatraced, and we're only down 7 and practically everything has gone their way. i can't imagine they can keep this up, but it seems like Illinois just plays their best against us this year.

We desperately need Watson to break out of his slump.  Gill will be Gill and make a three here and there, but we need Watson to get us about 7-10 PPG.

How do they have 46? Did the official scorer figure that last shot was going in?

Need to take away the lobs as those are just defensive breakdowns which can be fixed.  The desperation heaves will hopefully self correct in the 2nd half.

If I were Illinois, I'd be slightly concerned that I wasn't up by more after what was total statistical dominance. I seriously doubt this team shoot 60 percent the rest of the way. Of course, we might actually cool of a touch, too (we're at a respectable 50% clip ourselves).

 

Adjust to the backdoor plays and hope they can't keep nailing these guided missile shots.

We’re still unsure if actually didn’t, it would be unprecedented today. So they just gave the benefit of the doubt.
