No one can consistently knock down open outside shots.

AND we can't seem to understand that we need to defend the outside shot.

We probably don't defend it because we never see guys make them in practice.

Okay here is that part about refing I hate.

Izzo just says too the ref "that was fucking, bullshit, and you know it". on the tie up at center court when Jordy goes diving in to the mix.

Same ref calls McVeigh for a push off on a drive.

Now is it right?. Don't know but that always looks bad.

This game is pretty easy to summarize.  One team went 11-17 from 3.  The other team went 4-16 from 3.  Everywhere else, we did enough to win.  We had 16 offensive rebounds.  MSU had 6.  We went 17-22 from the line.  MSU went 3-6 from the line.

Maybe it was Michigan State keeping us at an arm's length all night, but it seemed like a very uninspired effort.  3 point D, horrible, again.  We must be a step slow, cheat in not to get beat, bang open 3, not sure how else to explain.

  • Tai tries too hard sometimes, but when no one else is doing anything I guess I don't blame him.
  • Jacobsen, man those mid range shots looked...bad.
  • Taylor, McVeigh, Roby, Horne, Jacobsen a combined 4 for 21.  Ugh.
  • Jordy the bright spot, good for him.

Moving on, brighter days a head.
