Purdue 2nd and 3rd bases, no outs, top of the 2nd.

Big inning in the top of the 2nd for Purdue.

Loaded bases, wild pitch (Purdue scores), triple (2 RBIs), sacrifice fly (1st out), third base (single, 2 base error), sacrifice fly (2nd out), 3rd out.

5-0 Purdue off of 3 hits and 1 error.

We just need Purdue to take one more game and for us to win the next two...right?  The next two games should be largely in our favor bases on the pitching matchups.

If Minnesota loses this one and wins their final one, we need to win 2.

If Minnesota loses both, we just need to win 1.

If Minnesota and Nebraska lose all 3 in the series, Michigan gets the title with 2 winstt.

Thanks, hopefully we win out.  Really want to stay in that 1 or 2 spot and avoid having to play Indiana first round of the Big 10 tournament.

Iowa technically has a shot at the Big Ten title as well. Up 4-2 T4 right now against Illinois.

For teams to win the regular season championship:

Nebraska: Win 1 more than Minnesota

Minnesota: Match Nebraska's wins

Michigan: Win final 2 games and have Minnesota and Nebraska win 0

Iowa: Win final 2 games and have Minnesota and Nebraska win 0

Wow... Purdue hadn't won a single game (aside from today) against Minnesota since 2010-2011 and hadn't won a series against Minnesota since the 2007-2008 season.

They are 7-14 since 2007-2008 (having won 4-0 in 2007-2008).

7-1 Boilermakers top 8 with 2 outs guy on first.

Now when does Minn. start worring about the tournament and the arms that tey will need, compared to trying to win this and the next one?

Just a thought.
