Will be a tough game for us. Not only do they have a 7 footer but they have a 6'10 Fr. who is tearing it up too. Hopefully Jordy brings his A game bc it would be nice to get like 15 quality minutes out of him.

The extremely difficult part with Welsh is his ability to step out and hit 17-18 ft jumpers as well.  Wouldn't shock me if UCLA try's to play inside out with Leaf and Welsh with the guy on the block being the guy morrow is defending forcing us to double leaving shooters open

I'd go Jacobson on the 7footer and morrow on TJ leaf, their 6'10" power forward. Then put Tai on their 6'6" point Lonzo Ball, Watson on Alford, and Mcveigh on the other guy who is like 6'5"

This.  It'll be interesting to see if Tai can hound Ball.  Kid is legit.  I look forward to that matchup.

I barely got to see any of the UCLA game last night.  The small sample that I did see suggested we might be a fair bit more athletic. Is it safe to say we are athletically superior, or was my sample size about 37 minutes too small?

I would say yes.  But there size kind of makes up for it.  Could we see some zone tonight?  Just to mix it up a bit, or even a bit of our old prees that we ran some last year?

I think we shock them a bit in the first half. We are by far the best team they have played so far and they won't be used to our athleticism and overall ability from positions 1-5. I think we take a 1-4pt lead into the half and with them pulling away in the latter 10 minutes or so of the game to win by about 8. I believe this game will be an absolute battle through most of the game

Also their highly regarded freshman center, Ike Aniogbou makes his debut tonight.

Here is another way of looking at things.  What does UCLA have to do to stop us?  We won't do much different other than how we go through screens and some other subtle differences and then we will adjust as necessary.

I think the better question is if they will even try.  they don't like defense.
