Sort of looks like a Walter P type with the addition of some inside ability.

No. I don't see that anyways. Walt was a freak athlete with a ton of length, who could hit an outside shot. But had very little midrange game or back to the basket ability.

I see more of Coach Miles' typical Colorado State swing men in this guy.

We will agree to disagree.

6'9 220 lbs

Averaged roughly 9 pts 5 reb and 1 asst per game.

Where did you get those numbers?

I'm showing he was 14.7 PTS 7.5 boards a game. 53-140 from three point land...not big for a big man. I'm not sure he's the type of big man we really need but he looks skilled on the offensive end.

Mine might have been from the year before i wasn't really paying attention. I like your numbers better anyway.

No offer per Rivals this morning

A rivals update that said no offer was extended? Or just that his page hasn't been updated to say offer from Nebraska? Not doubting you I just missed it if there was a rivals update about this.

I was thinking along the same lines.  If we don't have a glut of PF types, we probably take him in any ordinary year.  38% from three is a pretty good stat for a 6'9" guy with good frame.  He also has some decent footwork in the post.  But you couldn't walk through Hendricks swinging a dead cat without hitting 2 or 3 of our current PFs already on the team.  And maybe this guy wasn't quite athletic enough or maybe the coaches questioned his motor.  Or maybe it was just a situation that he just doesn't quite fit the need that we have right now.  Either way, I would have been slightly surprised by an offer and less surprised he left without one.

Can he play center?

6'9 is a solid height but he seems a bit thin to be considered a true center. His wing span could really be a game changer tho if it is 7+ feet.

I was thinking maybe the reason for the no-offer was we asked him if he wanted to be a center and he said thanks, but no.

And now he has a Memphis offer, so Tubby Smith certainly seems to think he's good enough to play major college basketball.
