I am sure VB Coaches can be as demanding as BB coaches. Kids give more importance to club teams than the HS team. Athletes should be encouraged to participate in all sports.

Agree that this is disconcerting. It may reflect on the growing popularity of Volleyball and the ensuing club season. It may be cultural as GI’s school district is 54% Hispanic. From what I have gleaned the coaching staff wants to develop the young players in school at the JV level.

I cannot speak highly enough of Coach Tony Bennett. He dominated the ACC with less talent than Duke and UNC. A total class act who developed players. To critics of his style miss the point of playing the game and that is to win. College BB, all of college sports need more Tony Bennett’s.

USC at 3 and UCLA at 5 make the B1G an elite conference.

Rollie with 9 assists in 19 minutes looks great from just a view of the box score.

How can this “revised” PAC conference survive? There are no major media markets so the TV contract will be minimal. Maybe the Big XII should be nervous if BYU, Utah and the Arizona schools bolt back. New Mexico needs to get serious about football and they might be attractive. Best hope is to have Cal and Stanford to return though they might snivel at the academic standing of those schools.

The ‘65 Huskers of Grant Simmons, Stuart Lantz, Tom Baack, Willie Campbell and Nate Branch is still my favorite Husker Team. If the NCAA admitted more than conference champions back then we wouldn’t be cursed with never winning a tournament game.

Petra should bring plenty of experience to the squad in addition to some vitally needed size. Hope it’s a nice addition and competition for playing time off the bench.

This Non-Con schedule doesn’t lure me into making many 3 hour drives to PBA.

Eventually, disposable income will run out for people to continue to support the “benefits” due athletes whether they generate revenue or not. The college scholarship should mean something to the recipient but in the era of student loan forgiveness, apparently not.

Hope I can figure out how to transfer the electronic tickets to my brother in Lincoln when I cannot attend. I wanted paper tickets but it wasn’t an option.

We have Natalie Potts and Jessica Petrie coming back for a few years. We will have front court skill but not great size. Wish we could get a taller shooting guard but maybe Hamlin will be a fine player.

The player should have one full step and must release the ball before completing the 2nd step. Two stepping is a great Texas Dance but it’s traveling in my opinion.

Eliminate the Euro Step. Call traveling. Pivot foot cannot be changed. If these rules were enforced we would really enforced we would see who the skilled players are that can adapt.
