    It’s nice to have good shooters. It’s nicer to have a player that can get a shot against tough defense.

    Our last time to the Sweet 16 we had to beat Chattanooga and A&M at College Station. Previously, we played at home and defeated UCLA to advance. We have to improve enough to get a Top 16 seed to play at home. K-State was at home and lost to Colorado.

    I doubt it. OSU was clearly physical and finished behind USC and UCLA.

    They have even reduced the Regionals to two sites instead of four.

    We are who we are and I don’t see much change. The B1G does not have the number of quality athletes that are in the SEC, ACC and PAC 12. USC and UCLA are teams we have to hope we only see once during conference play. Britt Prince will give us good size at the point guard and the Hargrove girl should help. A transfer big would be very helpful. Hopefully are returnees are hungry to improve.

    OSU has excellent size in every position. We played hard today but not well. We never got over the intimidation factor of their length. Fewer turnovers and more shots falling we might have had a chance. They kept us at arms length the entire game. Nice game from Coley and Nissley.

    We could have used them earlier in the game to light a fire under us.

    We had a nice season. Round of 32 is about the best we can hope to achieve. Clearly, the B1G is not at the level of the other conferences.

    Call a time out when we are down 15. We are getting picked off when they screen and we can’t seem to get free for shots. Which we aren’t making.

    Beers has 4 fouls and AM shoots a fade away. Go at her and draw a foul or at least make the official make a decision. We are playing tight on offense and benefitted from their poor shooting. Why are the freshmen the only ones playing fearless?

    Markowski has to step up and at least challenge Beers inside. We are clearly intimidated inside but only down 7. I thought Petrie defended the big girl well.

    OSU is bigger, faster and quicker. To win, we are going to have to stop turning over the ball and hit a very high percentage.

    Cheap shots by both teams in that game. Officials need to get that under control so someone doesn’t get hurt. Officials have enabled her complaining by not nipping it in the bud.

    I believe Fred has the program on solid ground. This week will tell us more about the coming and going of our roster. Regardless, next season will be a challenge with the four West Coast Schools coming. Travel alone will create more hardships. I would hope there would be some Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday road trips for teams going West and vice versa when they fly East. Pair Oregon and Washington and the LA schools together.

    Grand Canyon cost us, Kearney State, our National Championship.

    Houston and A&M played earlier in the year to a 4 point game. The Aggies will show up.
