    Keisei just cannot guard their quick guards.

    As Al McGuire used to say this is a M and M’er. A mismatch. I think the want to is there but we are just getting beat. Have we been able to double team anyone? They are so much quicker to the ball and with dribble drive.

    Negotiations must have been far along and only needed to be approved by Regents.

    Michigan St is getting handled by North Carolina. I wonder if the long layoff has an impact. Ohio St is rolling after a sluggish start.

    UCLA and VCU would beg to differ. Lasalle made a run to the Sweet 16 and several have went on to win games.

    Garfield’s assassination was tragedy for the nation. It’s my belief much of the nonsense and hate perpetrated by the Klan in the South would not have been tolerated by Garfield.

    There are very few coaches better than Tony Bennett. He took Washington State to the NCAA. Kudos to the current Wazzu Coach for getting that program to the tourney.

    Low and Mid-Major programs can’t be happy serving as farm system for the major powers. The sow the seed in development and playing time and fail to reap the rewards when the player blossoms.

    Ahh, Cliff Meely brings back memories of CU Coach Sox Walseth. Two of my favorite players on opponents were John Brown and Al Everhard for Stormin’ Norman’s Missouri Tigers.

    Absolutely, you are in the Tournament. Didn’t VCU and UCLA go all the way to the Final Four. I would have been thrilled with a win in Dayton.

    Enough of the Virginia bashing! Tony Bennett is a great coach who wins with less talent than Duke and Carolina. By the way, he has a championship ring. How he won 23 games with his current roster is a testament to his ability.
