  1. Is she on a volleyball or basketball scholarship? I wonder if be able to maintain her game given the rigours of the college game versus high school? Especially in a power five conference. I wonder if she will remain "happy" if Amy plays her in a more limited role in order to conserve her skills and stamina?
  2. Good lord. I read those reports and my heart and psyche sinks more than a little.
  3. https://twitter.com/CoachMiles/status/1535382625027821568?t=VBDS_2rzvuY13oa0uX2v9g&s=19
  4. Very cool glow in the dark court. Coach Miles has got to love it! https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2022/06/10/san-jose-state-basketball-court-glows-in-the-dark?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=news_tab
  5. This sort of surprises me. It is certainly not negative as the level of talent he will play with and against will be significantly better, but simply didn't give off that vibe...whatever that means.
  6. Nicely done Jack! https://huskers.com/news/2022/6/9/mens-basketball-mcveigh-named-to-australia-iba-world-cup-qualifying-team.aspx
  7. Man we have a lot to choose from, so although I cannot disagree with his choice of Palmer, it is ripe for argument. One could make a case for Petteway, Ramos, Farmer, Verge, Jackman, Copeland, Drevo, White just to name a few.
  8. When looking at his Twitter feed I noticed that he sort of endorsed a certain Omaha doctor. I wonder if we will soon "see" a glass-less Wilhelm???
  9. Another "this should make you feel more positive" article. https://omaha.com/sports/huskers/mens-basketball/fred-hoiberg-and-nebraska-are-laying-the-foundation-as-summer-workouts-begin-thursday/article_8ccfcc04-e72f-11ec-a8ce-73e5e9551cff.html
  10. I am surprised by the moves of both Cam and Koty. This past year was unacceptable and the price to play here is steep. But I go back to what I was told by a scout many moons ago, looking for talent south of the Mason-Dixon line is soo much easier and cost effective. If you want to be seen, the south is the place to be.
  11. Oh heavens, I do not disagree. But nonetheless, the ability to build camaraderie with your college teammates is compromised by absence. I simply believe his ability to earn playing time is hurt by his summertime absence. Perhaps his post-season conversations with the staff indicated his absence would not change his status for next year. That may be good or bad for him...I guess. Hmm.
  12. Yeah, and he missed last summer as well. Not saying national team isn't important...but your college team needs to be prioritized as well; if you wish to play.
  13. No hype here; nope, nada. Rose colored glasses were ripped off. Yup, no need to read, no way this will pump you up...nope. Heck a slimmed down CJ is simply a trick with mirrors; so move on. https://omaha.com/sports/huskers/mens-basketball/fred-hoiberg-and-nebraska-basketball-staying-busy-amid-retooling-of-roster/article_71a822a6-e666-11ec-92a7-c3a8aa4f5e5a.html
  14. Time has passed. I used to pick up games at the various YMCA'S and on campus. Used to pick up games on the outdoor courts near Ager Golf Course as well. But again...it has been several years.
  15. Defense and post players seem to be her history.
  16. Ummm...there is a certain Warrior player that would fit right in with the Bad Boy's of motor city. I actually think the talent is phenomenal. In fact, I would strongly advocate rule changes at the NBA level in order to make the game more difficult for them. Pro golf has done this to a certain extent...but it is hard to tell as equipment changes continue et al. Hell, hitting a wedge further then many of you can hit a driver...whaattt? Sorry, I digress...back to basketball.
  17. I am with you about the lack of Power Five experience. I am confident she can develop talent and teach x's and o's; but can she recruit and close on high level talent? I trust Coach Williams so I trust it will happen.
  18. Maybe my eyes are failing me, but he looks like a righty to me.
  19. Let's hope that aphilso is a crappy talent evaluator
  20. I am going to blush a bit...I literally watched the NBA game AFTER I finished watching the NHL game. I know this sacraleguius, but NHL finals is more interesting than the first three quarters of an NBA game.
  21. Welcome young man. Look forward to having you take the huskers to the next level. By the way, I believe (and please correct me if I am wrong) he is not a blood cousin of Bryce and Trey. I believe they are close friends, so they are like brothers or cousins.
  22. I lost the ability to watch a full NBA game. But I turned it on with a couple minutes left in the 3rd quarter and watched to the end. It is hard to reconcile whether the Celtics were that good or the Warriors were that bad.
  23. My "hope" meter was running near empty. Although it is far from full, this added a bit to it. This is the poop I need to see and hear about. I do believe this kid can play a role on this team. If nothing else, work ethic, love of the game and love of the huskers appear to leak from his approach. https://huskerextra.com/news/basketball/mens-basketball/nebraska-commit-cale-jacobsen-is-practicing-what-he-preaches-more-practice/article_dca124bb-2409-5065-a95d-849f24fbdbad.html?utm_source=huskerextra.com&utm_campaign=%2Fnewsletter-templates%2Flocal%2Fheadlines&utm_medium=PostUp&utm_content=d09b424543be8222e4a241a7937d248958c11014
