Couldn't disagree more. Baylor is good. Baylor had something to do with how we played. And our weaknesses were exposed. To make it sound like a choke job by us is absurd. We coached our brains out to make it a 14 point loss. We were fortunate Baylor didn't shoot like it did against Creighton, but we also may have had something to do with that. Baylor has a nice team, and I didn't use the word "choke", but you can"t think we played anywhere close to a good game for us. We looked overwhelmed by the moment, not unlike blowing an 18 point lead to OSU. We're BETTER than that.

What was disappointing wasn't that we lost, but the WAY we lost. While we can't lay all the "Crap" of the previous Tourney losses on Miles, number 7 was like most of the others. We underperformed, when even an average effort would have given us a chance to win. I think Tim's stickin' around for awhile, because he knows this is only the beginning...

After the Dayton/OSU game, which was the first of the day, 85% of the brackets were shot.

All we have to do is win a basketball game, not a big deal. It's Baylor for christ's sake, not the '72 Lakers.

I live/work in the Twin Cities and was talking with 3 coworkers yesterday about the Tourney. All three are basketball fans and one is even an official. 2 of them thought Creighton was pronounced "Cretin", and the official didn't even know "Cretin" was in Omaha. This is the reality Bluejay fans hate to face. NOBODY outside of east Omaha gives a fat frog's a** about your program. Sorry

Petteway obviously a lock for 1st team. Shields should make 3rd. In a perfect world Miles would get Coach of the Year, but they'll give it to Michigan, just how these things work. To say Miles has "coached 'em up" is a gross understatement.

Frankly I'm surprised there hasn't been some sort of formal recognition on the University's part regarding this squad. Maybe they don't want to detract from what's happening NOW, and I get that. Hopefully after the season they'll be a tip of the cap. They've earned it.
