If Thomas can stay healthy he and Burke could be a pretty solid backcourt. I wouldnt mind letting him play more off-ball and get a true PG. I doubt Mika Adams-Woods can help much to start. We obviously have some depth at the off guard/wing with Burke, Akenten(I assume he transfers), Jervay Green, Amir Harris, Karrington Davis. No idea what we do with the bigs. Will be interesting to see how many spots truly open up. I think we end up losing Akenten and 1 more. No idea on Roby but me thinks he might just come back.

While it is silly, I do think it is fair to bring up he might be one of the better coaches to come in. No idea how he will do at Nebraska. Nebraska isnt Iowa State, so he could go 50-100 for all we know. I do like the background he brings in.

I don’t have any inside sources. But if Hoiberg was trying to use this leak as leverage one job could be with the Minnesota Timberwolves. I know Glen Taylor has been in contact with him or at least that is the rumor up here. It’s well known how Fred feels about recruiting but his last NBA stint wasn’t great. I sure hope he picks the Huskers but the wolves might get nervous and move past Ryan Saunders as an interim and just hire Fred. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Minnesota is young. I haven’t been able to watch much of them up here but I think it all starts and stops with stopping Murphy or at least letting him be the only one to beat us. Coffey hasn’t been nearly what I thought he might be at this point but he can score. Minnesota is young enough that I think if we can frustrate them and play smart we should be able to win. Not a must win but I still look at Minnesota as a 6-10(in where they finish in the standings/not record)in the B1G this year so gotta win these games because the rest of the B1G won’t be easy. I use to work with two former Creighton players. My boss was one. He is a great guy but made me hate Creighton. I got in to a verbal fight with my non boss after the tourney game a few years back when the guy started running his mouth about Miles. I grew up in MN went to school in Lincoln and from day one people from Omaha sort of rubbed me the wrong way... this sense of I am better than you and it only gets worse when they went to Creighton. Winning can cure a lot of what people think about coaching styles. Miles wins and people can look past him being hard on his kids(to a certain degree) but the issue is if he rides them like most mention and we don't win he needs to understand that change might be in order.
