I like Nick Bahe but it's a joke he ever tries to talk Nebrasketball. He is so Creighton homer bias, as is that whole station, can't take anything he says seriously. Nick is a good dude but if Andrew white comes back i think we finish north of 500 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Here is my thought. If you go get a grad transfer you are not going to mess up using that spot and at least you add depth. I understand the chemistry part but even if you go out and get a guy like Moses Abraham who didn't do anything, gotta think he at least pushed on guys in practice. I would love a ball handling PG who would allow guys like Gill and Webster to play more 2 guard and focus on that. Don't take a leap in a guy who will use up a scholarship for 3 years but don't let the scholarship sit open if you can have a grad transfer fit some need even if it's 5 min a game and help push guys in practice. I dont think Andrew would go overseas expecting to come back... I think he would go over to make it a career. Brandon Ubel has done fairly well overseas, as has Lance Jeter. Steph Marbury is a legend in China... I think some guys are just happy to get paid to play ball. -

We are all Bias, but Andrew needs to look at this team and ask himself this "Is this team better than last year and can help highlight my skills" If White wants to be a spot shooter/3 point threat at the next level, I think the additions of Jordy/Roby/Gill/Horne can help him show off that ability. The team is going to be better than last year. I think this team will be good enough to play in the postseason and therefore give White some of the exposure he needs to get some scouts talking. I honestly think Andrew is talented enough to play a couple years in the NBA but he needs to get in the gym and just grind to build those skills up. Buddy Heild was considered a good shooter and a later 1st rounder. He spent the summer just shooting and shooting and shooting and now he might end up being a top 5 pick. Come back and commit yourself to fix the flaws the NBA teams share with you and hopefully the pieces around you will allow you to truly show off what you are capable of. -

At a certain point, all these guys going back to school might mean AW is the only player left.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I thought he already had his list down to 4 teams: Kansas, USC, Miami and Washington? http://www.hngn.com/articles/198085/20160426/duke-transfer-derryck-thornton-down-to-four-schools-schedules-visits-to-kansas-usc.htm

He even looks like Andrew White. And 3 years to play. Hard to say no to a kid like that, but think Palmer fits that role.... 6'6 wing is something we have had no problem attracting... Not sure if it fits with what we have and needs wise. EDIT: He was the # 2 kid from Illinois.... Just so happens we already go the #3(Glynn) and #5(Ed) that year... Might as well get the #2. We didnt seem to have interest the first time around so doubt this goes anywhere but would assume Glynn and Ed might know him. Are you kidding me? Yes, this would fit a big need. He's a 2-guard/wing. If White and Webster return for their senior seasons, we'll be losing two players at that position after next year (during which this guy is redshirting). It's a position we're already thin at even with the addition of Palmer. Palmer would come in with 2 years to play and this could would have 3. It would be as though he was a part of the Jordy, Jeriah, Isaiah class which would give us a guard in that class. I would go very hard after this kid if there was a chance we could reel him in. What about Gill and Roby? Isnt this kid more of a 3 than a 2. In terms of wings we have McVeigh, Roby, Gill and Palmer.... Not sure where you see the massive need?

While it would be awesome to be drafted if you are AW, I dont know if i would want to be drafted by a team with 8 picks... The odds of making that team are slim if you are a second rounder. I would assume Boston will trade some of those picks. -

zero interest in this kid and the baggage he brings. -
I remember when we were first looking at him I ran across some tweets that implied he was involved in a group that might have raped a girl. I dont think he was involved but he was calling the girl a whore and saying his buddies were not involved. I got a really bad taste in my mouth on the whole thing and his character. I tried googling the story and couldnt find it so i apologize if i got some facts wrong. Everything i have read about the kid, i want nothing to do with him. His dad also seems like quite the involved dad. http://www.cleveland.com/osu/index.ssf/2015/12/freshman_guard_austin_grandsta.html
