I'd build off of this and say everything Miles has done so far is above and beyond his predecessors. Twitter, getting out in the public, involving the students and fans, humor, coaching staff, recruiting, personality, etc. I mean the list could go on how Tim and the coaching staff are light years ahead. Now when he gets that first NCAA win he can sign his lifetime contract with how happy NU fans will be.
In fairness, Doc was pretty engaging early on and I know they went to dorms and tried to get students involved. People loved him and called him basketball's Devaney. Doc didn't lack in that department. It was a different style, perhaps than Miles, but I don't think Miles had him beat in that regard.
