Just curious what peoples thoughts are on if anyone from Nebraska will make any "All Big 10 Conference" teams at the end of the season based on what we've seen so far.  Right now, I'd say:

Andrew White - 2nd team

Shavon Shields - Honorable mention

Glynn Watson - All freshman team

Let's see how the remainder of the season plays out, i.e. two years ago, the Huskers finished with a flourish & Petteway was a 1st team All-Big Ten performer. Perhaps AW-III could rise in the ranks a la Terran. Shields should be get some love, too. He leads the team as an all-around performer. His efficiency needs to improve from the field, though.

I agree the season needs to play out as it could change a lot between now and then.  Just curious what you mean by Shavon leads the team as an all-around performer?

He is high on the stat charts in every single statistic, it seems; Shavon leads the team in assists, for instance. And Shields is THE leader on the team, too.

Hard to say who will be where.  We aren't even at the mid-point yet.  Tai will get some attention for the 6th man award if he keeps doing what he is doing.  Depending on the remainder of the year, all four of the freshmen we have playing still have a chance to step into more significant roles.  Certainly Shavon and Andrew will get votes for all conference, but again, so much will depend on how we finish off the year.

Sulamon (spelling) at Maryland might get some newcomer votes.  White or Shields should receive some All B1G mention.  Watson and maybe Jacobson will get some all-Freshmen mention.

The above awards are nice but I'd like to see the team get hot down the stretch like two years ago and move up the standings.
