yikes, well this type of loss has happened a lot this non-con to the BIG10.  Just wish we could hold serve at home.  Losing at home stinks.  We're not good enough to take anyone for granted.  Not sure if thats what happened but it sure looked like it to me.

You just wonder if those fans are calling foe their coaches head like a few on here are ?

Young team, consistency might be hard to come by this year.  You just hope for two steps forward, one step back.  Tonight was a step back for sure.

Yes young team but same issues of the last 3 years plague us.  Not enough scoring options, poor defense at the arc due to guys getting beat off dribble, issues with the press.  When does it get better?

Reading comprehension has never been your friend. That, or you believe any sort of criticism even when it's well deserved is akin to "calling for a coaches head."

Well I am going to say that we might be seeing that Tim is an okay coach without Smith. Look at what he is doing at South Dakota.

We need to do some deep soul searching before Tuesday.

This maybe more true than we want to believe.

Yep. Fire him now. (roll eyes).
Nope, but I get for some there is no in between. If you are happy with what you have seen on the court the past few years. Good for you. For me? Miles deserves some criticism.

I get criticism, but your comment was more in the realm of snark.  Or, if it was criticism, it was of the useless variety.

More of the useless variety. BTW, I'm not criticizing Miles ability to light up the room with jokes. He is the funniest coach in college basketball. Sometimes it's not so funny after losses though, especially horrible losses like this.

It also might have some help with recruiting, too.  It might be why we got the recruiting class we got.  The problem is some of the players are not improving.  Hammond is one.  After the Brooklyn trip, I thought he had turned the corner.  Since then, though he has played terribly.  McVeigh came out guns blazing in the first couple games, scoring 37 points in the first 4 games.  Since then, he has scored 19 points in 8 games.

Some of Miles' sub patterns are perplexing.  White was on the bench with about 5 minutes to go, when we needed a shooter.  Fuller plays 10 minutes mostly in the 1st half, barely sees the floor in the 2nd half.

As for the starters, we were up 7-2 at the first media timeout.

I don't think we are any better now than we were game 1. That's the concerning part. It's time for Miles to change the starting lineup. I don't care about feelings or don't know if it will work. But, we have been pretty bad the last few games at the start of the game and the start of the second half.

You're probably right. That being said, Watson's 18 ft 2pters weren't exactly helping our cause tonight.
