Not a trivia question, as I don't know the answer.   I'm guessing it hasn't happened before, but don't know for sure.

We beat KU in '88.  Oklahoma was also in that FF but we didn't beat them that year.  None of the teams we beat in 87 or 89 were in the Final Four either, so yes.  You are probably correct.

Do you mean 1994? Big Country played for OSU around then. 2004 was way past his time. So if you actually mean 2004 then it wasn't Big Country's Okie State.

They beat Kansas twice in 1991, handled them in the Big 8 tournament and in Lincoln, really should have beat them in Lawrence too except for the typical officiating you get down there. And Kansas made the finals.

Creighton won an NCAA tournament game that year too, even though Nebraska beat them 97-63 in a game that wasn't as close as the score indicated.

Do you mean 1994? Big Country played for OSU around then. 2004 was way past his time. So if you actually mean 2004 then it wasn't Big Country's Okie State.
