From what I have been told is that Lincoln doesn't have the right hotels to support an NCAA regional games rounds 1 and two. I should have said enough hotels.

If I heard correctly, we would need 4 "full service hotels". We currently have 3.

Isn't there something about the airport not offering enough direct flights or something, Epply does do, but it is not close enough to the venue.  I thought I read something about that a while back.

Folks over at IllinoisLoyalty.com are saying that Chin Coleman is a possible candidate for Leitao's staff.

I didn't realize that Leiato was previously at DePaul and the last coach to bring them to the NCAA tourney. Seems like that might be a really good re-marriage for both parties. Getting Coleman or any sort of Chicago AAU connections would be a big part of that.

No rest for the wicked

That's AWESOME.  He won't have to buy a new wardrobe.

All of his orange caps with a "T" on them will still work!!!

Couldn't imagine any better news for either Tennessee or Barnes.

...Hope Texas doesn't get confused.  They likely are looking for a coach that has a resume of getting teams to the NCAA tournament, one that perhaps comes from a major conference, one that can recruit and can work well with the media across their fine country...err...state.  Likely that future coach would be even a better candidate if he has taken teams deep into the dance on occasion.  Even better, someone who runs a clean, respected program and who does things the right way...perhaps someone like Tennessee coach Rick Barnes B)

Which is why Barnes said in his press conference yesterday when asked if he anticipated coaching again at some point that he said yes he would "probably sooner than you might think."

IOW, this likely has been in the works since last week when Texas' dumbass AD failed to just fire Barnes on the spot.
