BugeaterZ Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 I just found out today that I'm headed to D.C. for a training conference in February. It just happens that the Huskers will be paying Maryland while I'm there. Anyone know how tickets for road games work? Do visiting teams get an allotment like they do in football? Would I need to buy directly from Maryland instead? Thanks in advance. Can't believe the timing worked out! Quote
uneblinstu Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 Visitor allotments are tiny, almost always go to friends, family of players, coaches, etc. You can always check, but you'll probably have to go through Maryland or the secondary market. Quote
HuskerFever Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 It's a strange concept, but outside of Nebraska tickets to sporting events aren't too hard to come by. I could be wrong, but you might be able to walk up to the ticket booth and get tickets there. Quote

I would venture to bet that since we don't have "Duke" or "Michigan State" on the front of our jerseys, tickets won't be at that much of a premium. Quote
BugeaterZ Posted September 9, 2014 Author Report Posted September 9, 2014 I'll be traveling by myself, so my hope was to sit with other Husker fans. I'm not worried about getting in the door. I'll check with the athletic department once my travel arrangements are final. Thanks all for the input! krazzykirk 1 Quote

In the last half decade...I have learned that one man can sit almost anywhere ...within reason (suites excluded). Just be observant and quick...and have the next seat scoped out if need be. hhcmatt and bobcat402 2 Quote
HuskerTJ Posted September 9, 2014 Report Posted September 9, 2014 Might be worth checking with the NU Alumni group for D.C. https://www.facebook.com/dc.huskers to see if other Husker fans are going who you could sit with hhcmatt 1 Quote

Damn!...I meant half Century, not decade! Cut my teeth on 1960;s and 70's Who, Stones and Husker tickets... But the message is the same. Quote
