LOL, new conference member Rutgers just lost their last AAC game 92-31. Yikes. Still don't buy that tv sets in the NY/NJ area are a good enough reason to bring them to the conference. Crap athletics.

Big Ten basketball fans were kinda saying the same thing about the Huskers joining them as well...just saying.  Perhaps the change in conference will jumpstart their program.

Not sure conference affiliation has been holding RU back. They played in the Big East for a long time when they had the chance to pitch all those NYC kids on the idea of staying close to home and playing top level competition. I just don't think they will be competitive.

Their fans are horrible. Honestly, I could count on 1 hand how many people stood up at least once during their game against Cincinnati. Not even kidding.

Yikes, 92-31 is what happens in H.S. girls basketball when one team can hardly cross half-court... oh, for the love of all that is holy, the State University of New Jersey better get their "stuff" together under Eddie Jordan or they'll be like this season's TCU of Big Ten basketball (0-fer cellar dweller).
