I have always thought highly of Kenny.  But now that he has proven, through his latest tweeting performance, to get the issues prevalent with the dreaded species of the Jaysker, I love him even more.  Perhaps one of you twitter people out there can link his "fistpump" tweet about Creighton's latest loss, which is causing Jayskers everywhere to hyperventilate.

Not just Jayskers but Creighton fans in general.  (For the record, I have no issue with people who are Creighton fans who also cheer for Nebraska football.)

I'm talking about the ones who don't just cheer for Creighton, but who also hate Nebraska basketball.  Anyway, Kenny has always supported the other mens and women's sports at NU, and is a cool dude.

Yep those are the kind I cannot stand.  And one of the main reasons I cannot get on board with Creighton, even living in Omaha.  And then you have a segment of the fanbase that acts as though they are better than everyone else.  Those pompous douchebags along with the idiot type Jayskers make it downright impossible to wish them well.

looks like KB should stick to trying to catch passes.

Try not to get any tears on your sweater vest.

Just a perfect example of players (and in this case fans) reflecting their FB coach's personality. He is not from Nebraska, he knew nothing of either NU or CU before dropping passes here err... attending school here. obviously he also forgot about the basketball game in December as he was probably dropping passes err.... practicing hard for his bowl game.

He is not from Nebraska

After what length of living in the state of Nebraska are you allowed to have disparaging or jaded opinions about schools in the state of Nebraska? How could he have such an opinion after so short of time?  Is is possible there are certain pseudo-Husker fans who troll him on twitter and message boards?  Is it's possible their crappy POV and attitudes are responsible for the feedback and opinions from Kenny Bell?

1) obviously less than 4 years

2) logically from people who's opinion he values, say a coach or Nebraska native team mate from outside of Omaha.

3) yes

4) "their crappy POV" being who? Has there been one person associated with CU that has mentioned NU in disparaging fashion from their AD, to Coach, to Players of any sport? Can NU say the same??... the answer to both questions is two letter word and the word starts with "N".   You must be talking about a portion of their fanbase? and to that, the answer would be "yes" and it would be "yes" for every team in America. So is it a fair assumption you, like most BOlievers would rather excuse the behavior than say its wrong? If twitter was around during the TO, Solich years could you imagine this occuring? much less with fan support?

Well I for one don't care enough to follow anything cr8 err... Creighton so I would not know what any have said.

But we are I titled to our opinion in this country and on this board. We also need to know we will be taken to task if those opinion aren't quite the status quo for this site.

If I say something on a teams board that the local posters don't like they are going to express their displeasure with me.

So what I am saying is Kenny can say what he wants, most of us will agree and will call you out when you don't.

To each his own.

Out!!!

No, Silverbacked, you're doing it wrong...

try it like this:

"MY favorite team (and/or college) is composed of nothing but the most righteous and upstanding models of human decency ever assembled, while YOUR favorite team (and/or college) is a collection of the most despicable and sycophantic examples of trash the world has ever known...and if you disagree with me on this that only serves to prove just how wrong you are about your personal stance on the matter.  Because you are wrong."

Et cetera ad infinitum.

I believe that is the goal of this thread isn't it?

This sounds very Craytonish of you...no need to hide it, we all know you are a Crayton fan.  Where did Kenny say Nebraska was better than Crayton this year?  So once Nebraska beats Crayton at the Pinnacle next year..this means Kenny is free to enjoy Crayton's basketball losses?  Like many of us..I'm sure Kenny grew weary of the holier than thou attitude from most Crayton fans.  And being a Nebraska basketball fan he has no reason to like Crayton...but yes, I'm sure this all Pelini's fault.  Errrrrr yes, very Craytonish of you Crayton fan.  You guys just can't help yourself.  It doesn't take long for you guys to be outed.

You actually make some good points in your response, until you get to the last part of #4. Your disdain for our football coach has obviously colored your views, as well as your knowledge of history. Can we imagine

"this" occurring if twitter was around during the TO/Solich years? Are you kidding me? Of course--this and much worse. You want to put twitter in the hands of Christian Peter, Jason Peter, Lawrence Phillips, Riley Washington, and such folks, at their maturity level at that time? Do you really think we had a bunch of choir boys back then? I suspect we would have had a few problems that would make Kenny's tweet look like "Goodnight Moon".

As if you knew.... Be it a fan of either, a fan of both or a fan of neither is moot. Reality is, one fan base is in the position to regularly defend actions and words of players and coaches, one is not. Some people are willing to do so for "their team"(your name here), some are not (my name here). For me and me alone, its a core values decision not a loyalty decision. At the end of the day, KB has his right to say what he feels is appropriate and we have the right to say I like or dont like it. One fan base has written on their walls " Through These Gates Pass the Greatest Fans in College Football.”.... known for their collective class. I dont think KB is honoring that as a fan and I am not going to defend it.

Is it part of your "class" and "core values" to diss KB for "dropping passes". Kind of hypocritical on your part, not to mention way off base, as KB is a superb wide out who makes some great catches, including a highlight reel ESPN special--regardless of what you think of his tweeting.

So....in order to be a "good" fan Kenny has to root for Creighton? Lmao you guys are something else. So sensitive....and yes I know. It's clear you are a Crayton fan. One that probably has been on this board under a different name before...
