Isn't this the list of names?  I don't see McDermott.  Saul Phillips would seem to make the most sense.

Fox looks better if he lost to a ranked team.  The better we do, the better his club's rpi is.  Maybe he followed how things went with us after  we played (and beat) them and is giving us props.

My guess would be Phillips, Painter, Fox in that order.
