TheKamdyMan Posted October 1, 2013 Report Posted October 1, 2013 The weird thing was the aau coach said he was dreading the Ohio state visit and today tweeted at Elbert how well the trip went so that doesn't help. Quote

TheKamdyMan Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 Goodluck announcing tonight. Go Buckeyes!!! Who is announcing tonight? I'm confused. assuming youre being sarcastic but Goodluck Okonoboh, yes thats his name, is announcing at halftime tonight between IU, OSU, and UNLV. Quote
HuskerActuary Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 Goodluck Okonoboh chooses UNLV Quote
ShortDust Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 That hurts actually.. now osu puts on full court press for elbert Quote
jdostal Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 Goodluck picked UNLV. Stupid mobile version. Other posts weren't there :/ Quote
ShortDust Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 I guess the positive would be that we won't have to play Goodluck at either big ten school. Now we just need to hope Elbert wants to shine here at Nebraska. Quote
ajb5856 Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 This is not good. Still, who ever thought it would come to a point where a top tier recruit choosing between UNLV, Ohio State, and Indiana would have implications on Nebraska's recruiting of another top tier recruit? Quote

True, I still love that we are in on a recruit of this caliber. I just want to figure out whats going to happen with Elbert over the next couple of days. After his visit to gtown on the 11th, I think we will know a lot more about where he is going to reside. Quote

It's a little worrisome to me that on the Crystal Ball that 12 out of 13 insiders have predicted Elbert to LSU. I know those aren't always accurate, but still, all of those insiders heard something that makes them think Elbert is going to choose LSU. And that's not all LSU guys making those predictions to LSU. It's Duke insiders, Kansas insiders, even a Georgetown guy picking Elbert to LSU. ShortDust 1 Quote

I look at those too, but I just don't know how accurate those are. You would think that the Nebraska insiders would have gotten some information as well. I try not to read to much into over there because there is very little information about bball and its never updated. I wish that they would tackle bball with more effort. Just think we will have to wait and see what he decides, but if he does go elsewhere besides us I'd prefer it to be gtown or lsu. A place so we don't have to play him and gtown so he could dominate the blue hairs! If he does go to osu, I'd love to be able to beat him when we would play him. Time will only tell.... Quote
ShortDust Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 I think that all the other insiders don't think that we have a chance, because we have never landed someone like this in quite some time. I am probably wrong, but i think we make it in the final two and 75% of me thinks he comes here. I'm hoping the crystal balls are wrong and we get our wish! Quote
Cookie Belcher Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 I don't think he end up here, but relying on the Crystal Ball predictions is pointless. Michigan just got a guy they were at 6% for on the Crystal Ball. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 The fact that Goodluck could turn down Ohio State even though they brought out Lebron and all their other commits PROVES that a player can go on a visit like that with a major "wow" factor and still say, meh, I'm going somewhere else. Just saying that regardless of whether it is true or not, those insiders heard some info that made them believe ER would eventually choose LSU. Quote
