He'll just tell Coach K and Roy Williams to shove it. Remember, he said that if a team hasn't recruited him by now, they obviously don't want him that bad. And recruits always stick to their word. I expect him to hang up on Coach K less than 15 seconds into the conversation. He'll be a Cornhusker soon. Quote

uneblinstu Posted July 15, 2014 Report Posted July 15, 2014 I'm not sure that it really *damages* anything if he goes elsewhere. It's only bigger if he commits. Silverbacked1 and atskooc 2 Quote

lanigan123 Posted July 15, 2014 Report Posted July 15, 2014 IMHO it's just a matter of time for him and White commits. Would like another big 4/5. Quote
huskerbaseball13 Posted July 15, 2014 Report Posted July 15, 2014 Would love to be wrong but if he is going to be a Husker I have a feeling he would have already pulled the trigger. Quote
Nebrasketballer Posted July 15, 2014 Report Posted July 15, 2014 I really hope that the 2 new offers today are plan B guys, rather than an indication of where Nebraska stands with Andrew White, Morrow, and Baptiste... Quote

I wouldnt call Sehic, a guy that the Rivals national analyst said is possibly going to be a 4 star soon, a Plan B guy. I mean we've never signed a 4 star caliber player so to think he's a Plan B....... Quote

bobcat402 Posted July 15, 2014 Report Posted July 15, 2014 if our plan A is a combo of Baptiste, Morrow, and White...than we need to have a discussion... Morrow is fine i like him, and i think their is mutual admiration, maybe he pulls a LeBron and comes home (thats gonna be a thing from now on) or maybe spurns us and goes to a bigger program (also pulling a LeBron) idk, but either i feel comfortable with this kid. White- I think he will be NU Red, and will be a great player for us, he is a player im most comfortable predicting he will be at NU. Which brings me to Baptiste, his film is incredible, his size is incredible..he will never ever be a husker, nor should we ever expect him to be, nor at this point do i really want him to be, we as a program are not ready for one and done players, which is what Baptiste will be, we need program developers, with kids who develop into nice players with NBA potential, who Sehic could very well be. once again, for my purposes, i dont think we as a program, are ready for a one done athlete, unless we can replace him with more top prospects to follow. Seriously might need to step away from the Kool-Aid. This program has struggled to sign 3 stars in the top 150 let alone some of THE BEST players in the country. Baby steps and realization of where the program is currently at will help soothe the truth. Maybe someday they can get a player of that caliber when they have proved themselves but its not happening this year for Baptiste and very likely for Morrow despite all the ties (I personally feel thats the only thing keeping NU in it). If I enter a contest in which the grand prize is a Ferrari and the consolation prize is a Porsche...The Ferrari is going to be my #1 choice... The Porsche is great and it's much much much better than any other vehicle that I have ever had, but it's still not the Ferrari, so it would be #2 choice... That doesn't mean that I don't like the Porsche, or that I wouldn't be happy with it...its an incredible car...it just means that the Ferrari better... Quote

Yeah, I was confused, because it seemed like I was trying to say kind've the same thing that you were saying in some of your posts...but one of my flaws is that sometimes what is in my head and what I am trying to say isn't always the way things come across when other people read what I post...
