trickey Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 (Sorry, couldn't find a better, tasteful photo of ... ahem ... than the one above that also ends in ".jpg") Norm, You may want to ask Cassie22 for help...Judging from his avatar, he knows where to find them! Quote
Handy Johnson Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 Saw the "Pin" for the first time driving in from the West on 80, and was struck by how metallic and shiny it is. This WILL be the look moving forward correct? They won't be painting a big red "N" or a corncob on the side I'm assuming. Quote
49r Posted April 15, 2013 Author Report Posted April 15, 2013 As I understand it, the outside surface of the arena will patina over time. It eventually is supposed to turn a sort of brown color, more closely resembling what you see in the original renderings and videos. Quote

Only where it'll say "Pinnacle Bank Arena" on the front, er, side, er, end, er, whatever. Quote
Bugeaters1 Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 How does one get on the pedestrian bridge ? I was at the hawk Friday and was looking at the walk way wondering where it starts. Quote

jimmykc Posted April 18, 2013 Report Posted April 18, 2013 Something about these pictures makes me think about Noah. Quote

Norm Peterson Posted April 19, 2013 Report Posted April 19, 2013 Our Noah or Noah from the bible? Well, good question. Is the PBA 300 cubits long? The internet tells me that 300 cubits is roughly 450 feet. Can we get a side-by-side graphic? Quote
49r Posted April 19, 2013 Author Report Posted April 19, 2013 Noah's seat WOULD be just off to the right of this picture... Quote
Norm Peterson Posted April 19, 2013 Report Posted April 19, 2013 Noah's seat WOULD be just off to the right of this picture... Like next to the giraffes, probably. (Me, I'll probably get stuck next to the hippos. Rather sit by the gorillas.) Quote
