Sai also might have needed to redshirt because of the academic scholarship issues being discussed in another thread.  An academic scholarship kid can't play his first year, as I understood.  Vooch is on an athletic scholarship.  Totally different beasts.

To the best of my knowledge, Tummala was offered an athletic scholarship by Nebraska. If he and Atewe commit, that fills our class for 2013.

Haven't heard much about that story lately...but I do recall they hadn't resolved any course of action as of yet.
