I know I complain about coach Williams but damn it, she gets us to the big dance about every year.

I wouldn't exactly say that, this will be the fourth appearance in nine years. Less than 50%.

This was a game of team balance in play and in mental focus . May be what we haven't always been so great at.

Everyone was unselfish, and wide open in helping each other.

Maybe most of all they have learned to have confidence in themselves...and each other. That's my kind of basketball.

The commentators said after the game...the players listen to Alexis...they heard her say in a huddle..."you can do it...you can do it"

It also helps to have the bench depth that Nebraska has. It seems to pay playing the whole team most every game.

Gritty win by the Big Red. Loved it. Jess Petrie and Petra Bozan made up for a subpar game from Alexis, who was getting mauled most of the night. And, of course, the ringleader Britt Prince was clutch all game. Seven players scored at least 7 points for the Cornhuskers. That type of balance works well in a tourney environment. GBR

That plays really, really well in the Big Ten tourney. And, having Bozan & Petrie both score 11 helped tremendously to offset Markowski's subpar night (9). Seven NU players scoring at least 7 pts. makes it a total team effort. Nissley rebounding the ball late on the offensive end was a huge factor in securing the win, too.
