And here come the refs.

Yep, that last one is about no. 3 or 4 of very questionable calls

Could be true

I think the stats show Markowski is fouled more than anyone else on the team.

Yes they are

Just saw a  pix of Minn coach...she looks real disappointed

But we looked really good most of the game...Minn seemed to want to bully us, but they have to score to back it up.

Good game Huskers !!

I’m still not convinced we have top 1/3 B1G-quality depth, and I still don’t like Amy’s turnstile substitution patterns.  But for today at least I’m obviously wrong!  Ten players had double digit minutes, 11 scored and 7 hit 3s!  Many solid performances, relatively few wtf moments, and even pretty good defense until mop up time.  Kudos all around!

We did not just beat Minnesota, we bludgeoned them.  Their coach was p*ssed from beginning to end.  Nice win ladies...very nice win.

That said, Alexis is still not 100% on her game. She is closer than many think, but she a quarter turn off.  When she gets going, we're going to be hard to beat.

Lastly, we turned the ball over 20+ times.  Think about that...we still blew them out.  We need to work to reduce that turnover number.

I don't know what to think about Amy's turnstile substitutions.  On the one hand I would like to see Rimdal play more. (She is an excellent shot maker from all three levels).   But on the other hand, I would like to see more of Weidner, Hargrove and Bozan.  And I don't know who I would want to see play less.  This is just by far the deepest team I can ever remember having had here.  I think Hargrove is going to be really really good.

Markowski:  I don't know what happened to her ability to get the ball to go thru the hoop.  As a senior (without checking the stats), I think her percentage is lower than in her first three years.  I don't understand her attempting the bank shot from 2-3 feet from the baseline vertically and 4-6 feet from the hoop horizontally. The angle is so oblique that It seems to me to be a very difficult shot and I can't remember other players even attempting it.

Turnovers:  Obviously

Prince:  keep shooting and more penetration drives.

Weidner:  I am really curious to see what others think of this ... Tho in limited quantity, I think we are now seeing something very close to the 2022 version.  Could be wishful thinking.

I think she is close.  She still looks a tad hesitant to mix things up, and she still seems a bit slower.

I think her recovery is amazing.

She was on the floor before the game ( I believe it was her) and she had a muscle stimulator on her mid-section.  Not sure what that means, but i thought I would mention it.

I am not in the same camp regarding the substitution pattern.  I would rather look at it that she is leveraging her depth and keeping players fresh.

I haven't looked at overall minutes...how does that look?

Gonna be interested to watch coley the rest of the way, her box score wasn’t amazing today but between her quickness and length she was a pain in Minnesotas ass all afternoon.

I like the turnstile substitutes with the current state of our team, best way to try and replace Potts is find the hot hand each night IMO.

I watched the recording of the game on my DVR. That’s the first game I’ve been able to watch on tv this season. It was great to see them back at it! Any B1G conference win is a good win this season, and every season going forward. What an absolutely murderous conference.

At one point while watching the game, I felt a momentary feeling of melancholy, realizing that Jaz Shelley really has moved on and is no longer here. She really was dazzling and endearing. How lucky we were to have her here. I don’t think I’ll ever forget her.
