Looking at projections right now, I would give us chance to get to the sweet 16 even as a 10-seed (depending on draw).

 

Just win and get in.

Me: Blabbering on about the bubble and how weak it is, but also Nebraska needing to win and everything in between.

 

Her: So what has to happen if Nebraska wins all three to play in March Madness.

 

Me: Oh nothing— if we win two, we’re likely in. 3 would be icing on the cake.

 

Her: So they control their own destiny. Why are you so worried about other teams.

WE control our own destiny. Go out Saturday and take it. It’s ours if we want it bad enough. Screw bubble talk!

Some times it is rough when you realize that the women you married is so much more level headed and easily smarter than you will ever be.  My wife does so much better than me when filling out a bracket.  Reason? She doesn’t have the same problem I have when I am reading all these web sites. Watching tv shows and doing all my research.  She often tells me I pick who I think will win and she knows there are some teams I just can’t pick to win even if I know they are going to do well! (Creighton, Duke, any team coached by Calipari, Sampson or Pearl.

This was my Hope EVERY Year we finished 7th in the Big 8…!
