Watched a bit of Frankie Fiddler tonight in MSU's game vs KU. He looked a little rough early, but KU was playing pretty tight D on him. Ended up with 15 points (8-8 free throws) and 8 boards. Was 3rd on the team in minutes.

Minnesota just lost an ugly game to a somewhat decent North Texas squad 54-51. Minnesota shot 31.3% FG (15-48), 26.1% 3FG (6-23), and 68.2% FT (15-22). North Texas was even worse from the charity stripe at 56.3% (9-16).

Also saw that Ohio State lost their starting center for the season with an Achilles injury.  Then I realized it was the football center.  We need to change the name for one sport or the other (guard and center) Forward can stay.

Wisconsin takes down Big East's Pittsburgh, who was 6-0.  Wisconsin now 7-0, and look pretty tough. Maryland also took down Villanova, who doesn't look so great this year.

 

Good week for BIG vs Big East.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't think it was part of a tournament.  This is why P5 teams don't travel to mid-major schools.

The only thing I can think of is getting a game in a players home town as part of an offer/pitch to the player. But even then....
